Fever Street is being developed through The CaribbeanTales Black Incubator and Studio Access Project (CTBISAP), a business and production hub for emerging black filmmakers designed to build capacity in the Black Canadian Film Industry. Chala Addison is a first-generation Jamaican-Canadian who has spent most of her life growing up on Fever Street. Everything she has learnt about her Caribbean heritage is rooted in the history of this neighbourhood. But as monuments in the community are mysteriously disappearing and all the adults are losing memory, Chala must find out why and how this happens. To recover the missing monuments and restore memory to her community, Chala learns about the wonders of her family's ancestral magic and the secrets that linger in the pits of Fever Street.

MYLZ, is a visual artist based in Burlington, Ontario; an artist who represents the embodiment of our art being the sum of its parts. Through his development as an expressive child, his creative process, and the instinctual response a human skeleton invokes which drives him,MYLZ walks us through his philosophy that everything that comes before us contributes to the next piece of art we produce. As we delve into MYLZ’s thoughts, we begin to wonder if our experience with him is the next sequence in our own process.

Michelle Titian is a world-class Canadian singer- songwriter who brings raw emotion and real substance to a yearning music industry.

Growing up before the age of Netflix and on-demand streaming, she rented every movie she could get her hands on from the local store. She holds an undergraduate degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario and a master’s degree from Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario. Emily’s passionate about the arts and has a strong background in dance and music. Human Error was submitted to the Academy Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting (an international screenwriting competition established to identify and encourage talented new screenwriters). Human Error received positive reader scores and placed outside the top 20% of entries.
